The check-in time is from 2pm to 7pm , while check-out is from 8am and before 10am (times refer to the local ones of the structure).
Cleaning service
During your stay, you don’t have to worry about anything, just relax and have fun as you wish… We take care of the daily tidying up and cleaning of your room, as well as all the spaces.
"Steam bath" (hammam)
The service of a little spa.
Every private bathroom is enhanced by an emotional hammam shower with chromotherapy, that will give your stay magnificent moments of relaxation and care.
Transfer
We can provide a private limousine transfer service to our property departing from your desired destination (e.g. Naples airport)
Luggage Service
To reach the accommodation, you have to walk a hundred meters and about 60 stairs from the main square. If you feel you need luggage transport please contact us in advance and we will provide you with details of the company providing this extra service.
Parking informations
Given the lack of free parking spaces and for your utmost peace of mind, for the parking of your vehicle we collaborate daily with a company that provides the service in “car valet” mode, with pick-up and drop-off.
Approximately 30 minutes before your arrival, you simply need to contact one of the reference numbers we will send you, stating your name as a guest of Cloister Suites, to arrange the pick-up of your vehicle by the staff.
The service is available every day from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm.
In case you need your vehicle outside of these hours, simply inform the staff at least the day before (if known in advance, it is better to mention it upon arrival).
During your stay, if you have any specific needs, you can personally retrieve your vehicle at the garage located at 25, Via delle Cartiere.
We would like to inform our kind guests that from the moment of arrival until departure, any information/need regarding the vehicle must be requested/communicated directly to the service company staff. The payment must be made directly to the company providing the “car valet” service.
The service, subject to availability, has a daily cost of:
– € 35.00 per vehicle from April 1st to July 31st and from September 1st to November 3rd
– € 40.00 per vehicle from August 1st to August 31st and for the Christmas-New Year period
– € 25.00 per motorcycle from April 1st to July 31st and from September 1st to November 3rd
– € 30.00 per motorcycle from August 1st to August 31st
The request must be made at the time of booking (the service will not be guaranteed if requested later or upon arrival).
Tourist tax
The Municipality of Amalfi has established the tourist tax which must be paid directly to the structure where you are staying. The amount is equal to €3.00 per person and per day up to the fourth; from the fifth the daily amount is €1.50.
It must be paid exclusively in cash.
Directions
Reaching us by car is very simple; you just need to follow directions provided by your navigation system to reach Amalfi at Piazza Flavio Gioia and proceed to park (if you have reserved our “car valet” parking service, you should have already received all the information about it). In any case, don’t enter in the historical center at Piazza Duomo, as there is a limited traffic zone (ZTL) active 24h/24h.
If you are using public transportation, first you need to rceach Salerno. From Naples, it is easy to take a train to Salerno (about 35 minutes).
Once in Salerno, in front of the train station (seaside), you can take a direct bus to Amalfi. Alternatively, about 600-700m on the seaside, there is a pier from which you can take a direct ferry to Amalfi.
We always suggest using “Le Vie del Mare” (ferry boats) due to traffic reasons.
Traffic information
There is an ordinance in force which regulates the viability on the Amalfi coast, which establishes a ban on transit from 10:00 to 18:00:
– on odd days of the month for cars with a number plate with the last odd number
– on even days of the month for cars with plates with the last even number
The limitations are foreseen:
- Saturday and Sunday
– from June 1st to July 31st
– from October 1st to October 31st - every day
– from August 1st to September 30th
Lean more
The traffic limitations are not to be taken into consideration for the first accesses: upon arrival or departure, our guests will have to show only the reservation in order to pass freely.

We can’t accept pets. We understand the situation, but in the past we had serious problems with some guests staying at the accommodation.
Unfortunately, after these episodes, to protect our customers, we could no longer accept pets.
